Welcome to the introduction course to the world of Agile - ICAgile Fundamentals! This is a two-day interactive workshop that binds together knowledge around Agile, Scrum and kanban.
DAY ONE
The day one is built around essential knowledge of Agile: the Agile mindset, Lean and Flow optimisation and covers the following topics:
-Agile History
-Agile Manifesto and Agile Mindset
-Complexity Thinking
-Management in the 21st century
-Lean manufacturing ideas, Lean Wastes and optimisation of end-to-end processes as a thinking behind Agility
-Agile Teams and cross functional team design of organizations
-Lean kanban method as one of the tools to work in a flow-like process
DAY TWO
The day two fully covers the Scrum framework as the most popular way of organizing work of cross-functional teams. During the whole day you will be participating in full-scale Scrum simulation (based on lego4scrum) to cover everything from product definition to product delivery and optimization. We will deeply elaborate on the next topics:
-How to start Scrum from scratch in your teams
-Defining the role of a Product Owner
-Building a User Story Map with the vision, users, user needs and product ideas
-Planning and forecasting delivery of Teams
-Roles and Events in Scrum
-Iterative-based development with Scrum Sprints
-At the end of the day you will see how multiple Development Teams can build a holistic product with Scrum
STUDENTS TAKE-AWAYS
After the two-day class participants will:
-Understand the benefits and applicability of Agile mindset and Lean thinking
