This course provides a solid foundation in DevOps for both business and technical personnel. Taking a holistic view, it looks at what is needed from the perspectives of the people and culture, the processes followed, and the technology used.

The experiences of organisations successfully applying DevOps is used to drive an evidence-based approach to change.

Particular emphasis is placed on using value stream mapping to understand the big picture and identify any improvements to make.

Andy is is an experienced agile practitioner with a strong technical background and experience in both project and change management. He has worked across education, finance, logistics and IT environments in both large multinational companies across Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the United States. His expertise lie in IT strategy, management, system deployment, project management, and software automation and documentation. Andy has experience working in a number of different roles, including web development, IT management, application and project management, change management, DevOps and Agile coaching. Andy is passionate about training and facilitating others to lead, creating high-performing, self-managing teams and leveraging an iterative, reflective delivery cycle to create the maximum amount of value in the shortest amount of time.

Through the accreditation process, ICAgile verifies that every training provider assesses student knowledge before the student earns a certificate. Assessment may be completed through in-class activities, group exercises, or an exam, as determined by the training provider. Please contact the training provider to find out if an exam is required to earn a certification.

Once you have earned an ICAgile-accredited certification, the certification is yours to keep. We don’t charge any renewal fees or require continuing education credits. We want you to be able to invest your time and resources into continuing your learning journey.
