Agile Team Facilitation certification focuses primarily on the mindset and role of an agile team facilitator, namely the Scrum Master or the agile coach, while also providing team and group facilitation tools and techniques for effectively designing meetings and workshops that both engage the entire audience and drive towards agreed-upon outcomes throughout the scrum sprint or agile project life cycle. Through obtaining this certification, participants will develop an appreciation for the art of facilitation as key to fostering collaboration and enabling self-organizing teams. In addition, participants will build their facilitator toolkits and gain experience facilitating specific agile practices most relevant to their organizational context, by starting with Scrum framework.Agile team leaders or aspiring team leaders with a passion for servant leadership and a desire to learn and practice the art of facilitation in the context of team facilitation and coaching. Relevant roles include Scrum Masters, Agile Project Managers, Agile Coaches and aspiring coaches, but it will also benefit Product Owners, Business Analysts, and anyone with the desire to explore the power of facilitation. The Agile Team Facilitation is a workshop for Scrum Masters or any Agilists or experienced Scrum facilitators who wish to dramatically increase their facilitation skills in general, especially as applied to Agile ceremonies, collaborative events and other team “moments of truth.” The workshop will focus on professional facilitation skills and techniques as applied specifically within the Agile context. It also provides an in-depth understanding of how collaborative activities can be planned, organized and run. Participants in this course will have the opportunity to update their facilitator toolkits and gain practical experience to facilitate specific agile practices towards successful team outcomes.
