​Over the course of this class, you'll learn valuable techniques with experiential practice coaching, mentoring, teaching, and facilitation.  At the conclusion, you'll be energized and ready to take your team to new heights!  ​

  • Learn critical listening and coaching skills as you progress from facilitator to coach, and pass those skills to your team!
  • Plenty of practice with professional coaching competencies which are reviewed live in class.  
  • Improve team and organizational performance by applying your coaching skills to help people reach their potential. 
  • Improve engagement and retention using techniques from Sharon Bowman's Training from the back of the Room.
  • Improve your facilitation skills with our proprietary Facilitation assessment and rubric based on ICAgile and IAF facilitation competencies.  We conduct a "mock" facilitation session or you can submit a recording of something you facilitated to help us review and provide feedback. 

We meet in a cohort-style program over 6 weeks.  We meet (generally) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm every Monday for at least six weeks (could be an additional week if the cohort needs the time). It includes a combination of independent work, case studies, and "real" application of what you learn, combined with live online review and instruction.  Each cohort is unique and shaped by the level of experience within the group.  Truly a great learning experience!

Kumar Dattatreyan

With 20+ years in the Information Technology sector and a decade of running restaurants prior to that, Kumar possesses a unique skill set and approach to transformational coaching that’s always evolving. He strongly believes that guiding leaders on a path to a coaching mindset is key to unlocking the potential of the individual, the team, and ultimately the organization. Most recently, Kumar has been working to blend a professional coaching approach from the International Coaching Federation (ICF PCC) with an iterative approach to achieving your goals and outcomes.

ICAgile does not have any prerequisites, but occasionally a training provider may have their own. Please check the training provider’s website to see if there are specific prerequisites for the class you are interested in.

Through the accreditation process, ICAgile verifies that every training provider assesses student knowledge before the student earns a certificate. Assessment may be completed through in-class activities, group exercises, or an exam, as determined by the training provider. Please contact the training provider to find out if an exam is required to earn a certification.

Once you have earned an ICAgile-accredited certification, the certification is yours to keep. We don’t charge any renewal fees or require continuing education credits. We want you to be able to invest your time and resources into continuing your learning journey.
