About this class

This class teaches efficient team facilitation in an agile context. You will learn how to hold productive meetings, cultivate shared responsibility, create involvement, participation and commitment within your agile team. The class gives you a better understanding of the group decision-making process and psychology behind it, so that you can apply tools and techniques wisely and appropriately. This class is best for scrum-masters, agile coaches and agile leaders. It is designed for those working with self-organizing autonomous teams, and would like to learn how to help their teams grow - not from a command-and-control perspective, but using their neutral stance to help the team find their best answers and solutions.Learners get a chance to practice a lot during the class and get feedback from both instructors and classmates, in a safe training space. The class is intended to help one stop being a perfectionist facilitator, grow confidence and keep calm when things go wrong.

Denis Salnikov is a certified Scrum Master & LeSS Practitioner actively consulting, coaching, mentoring, and teaching cross-functional development teams, companies management, and organisations since 2014. Denis has led and taken an active part in several Organisational Design changes initiated from scratch, working with both development teams and management, helping to establish and foster an agile mindset, self-organization and product ownership through relevant Organizational Design elements. His main goal is to help organisations and their development teams deliver successful high-quality product(s) or service(s) while preserving a passionate working atmosphere and eliminating the gap between tech and business. That includes supporting and leading change initiatives and (de-)scaling efforts, helping to redefine Organizational Design and optimising the system as a whole applying Systems Thinking.

ICAgile does not have any prerequisites, but occasionally a training provider may have their own. Please check the training provider’s website to see if there are specific prerequisites for the class you are interested in.

Through the accreditation process, ICAgile verifies that every training provider assesses student knowledge before the student earns a certificate. Assessment may be completed through in-class activities, group exercises, or an exam, as determined by the training provider. Please contact the training provider to find out if an exam is required to earn a certification.

Once you have earned an ICAgile-accredited certification, the certification is yours to keep. We don’t charge any renewal fees or require continuing education credits. We want you to be able to invest your time and resources into continuing your learning journey.
