This highly interactive course provides an introduction to Agile theory, concepts, principles, and roles and responsibilities, as well as hands-on practice with common techniques from Scrum to iteratively plan, incrementally deliver, and inspect & adapt products and processes. Successful completion of this course results in the ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) certification from the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile). ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Team Facilitation | ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) certification | Agile Team Coaching | This is a two-day course that provides in-depth skills necessary to plan, design and facilitate meetings in an Agile environment, using the tools and techniques of professional facilitators. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to define and embody the “facilitator stance” and access behaviors consistent with the key mindset shifts that accompany the role of facilitator as a servant leader. The skills presented in this course will enable you to facilitate meetings in a variety of contexts and for teams at different levels of team maturity. This course will cover planning and designing of facilitated Agile meetings, as well as a venue to practice facilitating in a safe environment where mistakes are encouraged as part of the learning process. Facilitation skills are applied to real-world Agile meetings, including project and team charter development meetings, release planning, iteration planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives. You will have the opportunity to give and receive feedback in hands-on facilitated sessions, using all of the tools and techniques provided in the class to support your mastery of facilitation. You will also know how to facilitate a safe environment in your meetings, especially retrospective meetings, to promote sharing, open dialogue, and substantive feedback. This course is intended for those who have a basic level of understanding of Agile and have ideally worked in an Agile development environment.
